CartBoost Privacy Policy

CartBoost (“the App”) is provided by Nexcess Technologies. This policy explains what data we process when you install and use the App on your Shopify store.

Data we process

• Shop domain and offline access token (for authentication)
• App configuration you save (shipping thresholds, messages, colors, order-bump maps)
• Product identifiers/titles/images/prices you select for order bumps

We do not intentionally collect customer personal information (names, emails, addresses).

How we use data

Data is used solely to operate CartBoost features: cart drawer settings, free shipping bar, and order-bump recommendations. Billing is handled by Shopify’s Billing API.

Storage & retention

Data is stored in our application database. When you uninstall, sessions are removed. Shopify’s shop/redact webhook triggers deletion of remaining shop settings.

Sharing

We do not sell merchant or customer data. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers (hosting/database) under contract solely to run the App.
